Downtown Square Grand Opening

The renovation of Downtown Garland Square is complete, which calls for a big celebration! While residents and visitors continued to visit the downtown merchants, they excitedly envisioned a transformed downtown. Wider sidewalks and new additions to the square are ready and eager to receive and welcome everyone to celebrate a newly revitalized and redesigned Downtown Square. Celebrate the freshly redesigned square at our upcoming Grand Opening event. Our Street Fair-style celebration includes live music all day long. Enjoy diverse genres, including jazz with Wanda King, Empiire, the Vintage Yell, Robert Miller Bluegrass music by the Garland Square Pickers, and a special appearance by Garland's LeAnn Rimes. Come and go or stay all day and enjoy family-friendly activities and Lawn Games. Fill up with all the yums from our downtown restaurant gems and food trucks. Take note: the celebration includes a special Drone Light Show you don't want to miss!
